100 Meters UTP Cable
The UTP cables and connectors provide superior network performance and can be
used to connect a PC with an Ethernet 10/100BaseT card directly to a
10/100BaseT wall plate, hub or patch panel. Each patch cable is fully tested
prior to shipment and is configured to maintain maximum data integrity. In
addition to being Category 5 compliant, these cables meet or exceed the
requirements of the Ethernet IEEE 802.3 specifications.
UTP is an abbreviation of Transmission Control Protocol, and pronounced as
separate letters. TCP is one of the main protocols in TCP/IP networks. Whereas
the IP protocol deals only with packets, TCP enables two hosts to establish a
connection and exchange streams of data. TCP guarantees delivery of data and
also guarantees that packets will be delivered in the same order in which they
were sent.
